Established in 2020, Olive’s Coffee & Bakehouse has been awarded Newburyport’s “Best Coffee” by the Daily News for two consecutive years (2021,2022) and recognized by BONS Northshore Magazine’s for best coffee shop in 2022. At the start of 2023 we were awarded Newburyport’s first Community Service Award from Mayor Reardon.
Olive’s was named after owner Debra Ball’s beloved English bulldog. Debra is a Newburyport resident and brings over 15 years of industry experience to Olive’s. Her experience started at Zume’s Coffee House in Charlestown where she is a co-owner. Before coffee became her life she was a Graphic Designer for 20+ years and heavily involved in the Newburyport art community.
Olive’s offers both in-house baked goods and locally sourced items such as hand crafted donuts from Heavenly donuts in Bradford and delicious croissants from A & J King in Beverly. We strive to offer everyone in the Newburyport community something they will enjoy whether that may be gluten-free or vegan baked goods, coffee, teas or a breakfast sandwich!
Our welcoming staff hopes to see you soon and do not forget to take a look at Olive’s portrait painted by local artist Paula Estey.
